Fire-rated sliding doors are intended for use inside a building. They are not suitable for outdoor use or situations where the interior and exterior are connected. These doors are often used in protected escape routes, but may not be used as a direct escape route. These sliding doors can only be installed in the reveal, i.e. in or directly on the wall opening. For proper and safe installation, it is important that the substrate is suitable. Permitted substrates include aerated concrete, cellular concrete, sand-lime brick, concrete, masonry and steel structures that are fire-resistant coated.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
