Independent of brands
Because we work independently of brands and have many dealers in our network, we can service and repair almost all types and brands of industrial doors. We use safe and reliable materials, assembled in the Netherlands, that meet NEN and CE standards. We are a member of the MetaalUnie and Nebrin.

The history of Louwers Deurtechnieken
since 2001
A serious start
In 2001, Gert Louwers started the company Louwers Deurtechnieken. He installed industrial doors for many different clients at a wide range of locations. Two years later, Bart van den Hoogenhoff joined him, and Gert taught him the skills of the trade. Over the years, they worked together. Because they want to be proud of their work and products, they always took the company and their work seriously. They never wanted to be known as cheap amateurs. Because of this, they received many orders from serious clients and big players in the market, such as Alsta-Nassau and Crawford.
Extending our range of industrial and garage doors
Until mid-2010, Gert and Bart worked hard and seriously for their clients. After that, they started building their own contacts. Over the years, they built a large customer base in the industrial doors sector and the garage doors sector for private customers. With good and reliable suppliers behind them, they gained expertise in industrial doors, garage doors, speed gates, (steel) shutters and rolling doors, fire-resistant sliding doors, and fire-retardant screens. Quality and reliability have always been very important to Gert and Bart. All the industrial and garage doors they deliver and install meet the current NEN and CE standards.
Acquisition of Brabant Deur
Brabant Deur has existed since 1993 and has overcome many difficult periods. The company stayed stable and ran well despite setbacks and financial crises. Dick and Rikie Bax, who ran it as a family business with full dedication for over 20 years, eventually reached retirement age. Because their children had other interests and activities, they started looking in 2014 for a reliable buyer to take over. They wanted to ensure Brabant Deur could continue to serve its customers.
Good cooperation and handover.
In 2015, Brabant Deur and Louwers Deurtechnieken connected, especially on reliability, service, and sustainability. They negotiated for a year. On April 1, 2016, Gert Louwers and Bart van den Hoogenhoff took over Brabant Deur VOF and continued together as partners. To ensure a careful and smooth transfer of service and deliveries, and to keep good relationships with suppliers and customers, Dick and Rikie Bax stayed on for a while to help with the handover. At the end of December 2017, the Bax family fully stepped back from both companies and retired.
Louwers Deurtechnieken and Brabant deur
It was decided to keep both companies separate. Brabant Deur BV has a rich history and strong reputation in electric garage doors for private customers. Louwers Deurtechnieken BV is a specialist in access technology for industrial doors. Together, they now operate under DEURTECHNIEKEN BRABANT BV, a parent company that allows sharing of staff, vehicles, and office personnel. This way, each company keeps its own identity, while service and quality for both customers and suppliers are guaranteed.
Lage zijde Eindhoven
At the Brabant Deur location, at Lage Zijde 1B in Eindhoven, the permanent office team handles customer contacts for both companies, supplier contacts, and sales. There is also a showroom where visitors can come with questions and see the materials. The vehicles, aerial work platform, and other equipment are stored here, so everything can be managed from one place. This ensures quality and service are always guaranteed. Over the years, we have noticed that our customers continue to value us for the good quality of our work and reliable service. Both regular and new customers can count on us, and in emergencies, we will do our best to help everyone as quickly as possible.
