Fire-resistant roller doors for indoor and outdoor use
Fire-resistant roller doors are suitable for use inside a building, but also between indoors and outdoors. They can be used frequently and intensively, for example in busy areas. They can only be installed in the opening, i.e. directly in or on the wall opening. For safe installation, it is important that the substrate is suitable. Permitted installation substrates include aerated concrete, cellular concrete, sand-lime brick, concrete, masonry and fire-resistant coated steel structures.

Certification and standards
Indoor fire-rated roller shutters are CE marked and tested according to several European standards:
- Tested, double‑sided, compliant with EN 1634‑1
- classified in accordance with EN 13501‑2
- validated cycle test in accordance with C2 (> 10,000 cycles)
- CE marked in accordance with EN 13241 and EN 16034
Application
- suitable for indoor / indoor and indoor / outdoor situations
- suitable for frequent use
- mounting only possible on the wall / opening
- permissible mounting surfaces include: aerated concrete, sand-lime brick, concrete, masonry, fire-resistant steel construction
Standard configuration
Each door is standardly equipped with:
- gravity failsafe chain wheel drive 400 V incl. control box
- external gravity failsafe tubular motor 230 V incl. control box (till ± 8 m²)
- Visual and audible indicators
- door leaf constructed from double-walled, galvanized steel, slats, thickness 22 mm
Optional features
The fire-rated roller shutters can be fitted with:
- application in indoor / outdoor situations up to wind class 5 (> 1.000 Pa)
- roll / motor cover box, galvanized steel
- galvanised steel parts powder coated in RAL colour of your choice
- side guides, brackets, cover box in stainless steel INOX 304 or 316
