Fire-rated roller curtains
Where fire safety is a priority
Indoor fire-rated roller curtains for safety and compliance
Fire-rated roller curtains are suitable for indoor applications only, in areas without significant underpressure or overpressure (wind class 0). They are activated solely in the event of an emergency, such as a fire, and remain closed during normal operation. For this reason, this type of screen is also referred to as a “standby roller screen.” Installation is only possible on the wall face (either surface-mounted or flush-mounted), directly in or over the wall opening. To ensure safe installation, the supporting surface must be suitable for the load. Approved installation substrates include aerated concrete, calcium silicate blocks, concrete, masonry, fire-protected steel structures, and metal stud walls.
